Royal Lake, Adam County, Washington

Royal Lake (102 acres)
This long, narrow, and shallow lake is not far from Hutchinson & Shiner Lakes (slightly southwest) in a beautiful area of marshes, and ponds. Royal Lake is in the Columbia National Wildlife Refuge within Marsh Unit 4 impoundments, which is closed to public access. The larger portion of the lake is within Adams county (84 acres) and the lesser portion in Grant County (18 acres). This lake was created by seepages from the Columbia Basin Project that created many of the lakes in this area from the Grand Coulee Dam to irrigate the farm lands in the basin. Fishing: Rainbow Trout, Crappie, Perch, Sunfish, Largemouth Bass, Panfish.
