Cougar Lake and Pond, Pend Oreille, County

Cougar Lake and Pond
Cougar Lake is on the west side of Trimble Creek Rd. and Cougar Pond is on the east side of the road, just a few hundred feet up the road from Cougar Lake. I think they got the names of these body of waters wrong as I think both are ponds. If you want to play around on these lakes with a kayak then the Cougar Pond is more interesting as it's set deep in the woods with lots of logs and creek at its north end. Camping is accessible along all along the road and around the lakes. Fishing is popular in this area due to all the creeks and near by Power Lake. There is some fishing done in the these bodies of water but so far have found no info about the species of fish in them. Directions/Maps: Best to use the supplied GPS coordinates to locate these bodies of water. Visit google.com/maps and type in one or the other...
