Johnson Lake, Spokane County, Washington

Johnson Lake (1 acre in spring)
This lake is just NE of Bonnie lake. Its a small lake and does not totally evaporates by mid summer. It may be fun to kayak on for an hour or so. Wind generally comes from the West in the summer and out of the N. or S. the rest of the year. This is a private lake with a housing development on its West shore. It tends to have a fair amount of water foul on it. Directions: From Cheney WA. follow S. Cheney Plaza Rd., then straight onto S. Rock Lake Rd., then left (S.E.) onto Long Rd. About 2 miles down this road to the East there is a private road within a new housing development that gives access to this Lake.
