Corral Lake, Grant County, Washington

Corral Lake (70.9 acres, Elevation 957 ft)
Corral Lake is the closest of all the area lakes to the O'Sullivan Dam. it has one hard gravel boat launch and there are areas one can fish off the bank. There is an accessible restroom and no running water. Mardon Resort is less than a mile from the launch. In addition there is a large gravel parking area with trail to the water's edge near the southeast end of the lake. As you drive on the road that is atop the Dam getting near the Southwest end of the dam you look on the opposite side of the reservoir (southeast) into the desert and you will clearly see a good size lake, this is Corral Lake (see pic at the top of this page). Corral lake is a popular fishing lake and bird watching area. Average depth is about 7'-10'. Fishing: Rainbow Trout. Directions: From Moses Lake take HWY 17 south toward Othello; turn right (west) on HWY 262/O'Sullivan Dam Road. Immediately after crossing the dam and across the road from the MarDon Resort boat launch there is an access road to Corral Lake and its northwest boat launch. Proceed to the end of this road to the launch. Maps: To view a map click on google.com/maps and type in Corral Lake, Spokane County, WA.
