Poirier Creek Reservoir, Bonner County, Idaho

Poirier Creek Reservoir (not to be confused with Fish Lake that locals call Poirier Lake) is a few miles southeast of the city of Blanchard Idaho off of Poirier Ranch Rd. This reservoir is a super small yet beautiful unknown reservoir in a grassy field with trees at its north end. The north end of the reservoir with its small cement spillway sits right off of the dirt road that comes directly from Poirier Ranch Road. The reservoirs southern end is surrounded by private farm land with no trespassing signs posted. Again this reservoir is small yet one could kayak in it and particularly on a hot day it would be a nice quite place to sit in the shade or swim. Directions: To access this reservoir from the city of Blanchard you take Poirier Rd, then before you could make a major right turn on this road you will meet Poirier Ranch Rd. Take this road straight up the hill and at the first major gravel intersection take a right, then go straight and just a short distance up this road to your left (south) you will see this reservoir.
