Moose Creek Reservoir, Latah County, Idaho

Small Boats, No Motors Allowed

MOOSE CREEK RESERVOIR
This beautiful little reservoir about 40 miles east of Moscow, Idaho. At only 10-15 feet deep, it’s shallow, yet holds an impressive amount of fish. Muskrats and beavers live along this reservoir. There is a primitive gravel boat launch with dock, and nearby accessible restroom, with no running water. There are several place along the road where one can launch a kayak/canoe into the reservoir. There is no beach, but people who come to this reservoir to swim do so from various sites along the banks. There is camping available around this lake, with the main campground with host on its north shore. Moose Creek Reservoir is a good lake for kayaking or dinghy sailing, and of course, fishing. This is a no-motor lake.
