If one would ever try to find this lake you would understand its name... One would have to hike through the woods, marshes, etc. to get to it. There is one home on this lake, which is the access point to this lake. This lake is in North Pend Oreille County, Washington. 1. Ridiculous a home owner can claim a lake to himself, who owns the water rights? Land locking a whole lake to themselves seems a lil selfish, that's exactly what's wrong with this state. Some snob blocking access I used to hike this as a child, what a joke!

    1. Yes, a bit sad the public cannot access this lake. Being its part of the Little Spokane River system makes it inaccessible via navigable waters. Not all lakes on the Little Spokane River system are private such as Horseshoe Lake, etc.

    2. Just a thought. I know the whole of the Little Spokane River other than within the park is all off limits to the public. My thought is, are the private lakes on the Little Spokane River considered public/navigable waters. The lakes are not the river and thus surface area of the lakes may not be considered off limits, Yes the land around the lakes is private, but one could fly in on an ultra-light with pontoons or small sea plane. Would be really interesting to learn if such an act is legal?
