Fish Lake
This lake is a fun little lake to kayak and fish on with nice facilities for swimming and picnicking. This is a no motor lake. This lake is nice to sail on and very open to the wind out in the middle. List of Amenities: Boat launch, 52 acres, 43 parking spaces, play equipment, hiking trails, basketball court, swimming and BBQ area. Restrooms may be available, but more often than not are closed. Additional Information: Seasonal entry fee to the lake between mid-June through Labor Day is $2.00 per person (check with park as prices change). Boat Launch (non-motorized boats only) is open typically the end of April (4th Saturday) to Labor Day weekend (open and close dates can very, contact the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife for details), fishing dock, Swim Dock, ADA Accessible, Paved Trailways, No Lifeguards, and ¼ Basketball court are also available. Directions: S.14314 Myers Road: I-90 east to exit 195, south to Cheney-Spokane Rd., turn right, 7 miles to park entrance signs. At Myers Rd., turn left & follow directional signs to park. Non-motorized Public Launch
ACCESSIBILITY: PARKING... 2 gravel parking areas, Northwest and Northeast on north end of the lake; PATHS/TRAILS... Paved paths and dirt trails within park. Gravel/dirt/mud combo access at launch; RESTROOMS/FACILITIES… Fully accessible restrooms when open. More than not will be closed due to budget issues; SENSORY... No sensory tactile markers for those with visual and other impairments. DOCKS/LAUNCHES/PLATFORMS… No dock at launch. Single lane dirt/mud non-motorized launch. Launch about 2% grade. One accessible year-round fishing platform dock with access path transitioning from concrete to wood; DIRECT WATER ACCESS… No paved or matt access for wheeled mobility devices. Water can potentially be accessed by persons using wheeled mobility devices with assistance. Beach area is sand/mud combo, so beware of sinking; TRANSFER SYSTEMS... None; CAMPING... No; O.T.H.E.R… Oddities/Barriers: Nothing unusual; Terrain: Level to about 5% grade to/from Northwest parking area; H2O/Water: Water normally murky. Water temperature in the summer can be around 60 to 70 degree; Environmental Conditions: High winds and hot temperatures in the summer; Resources: Food, drinks, and gas just down the road (southwest) in Cheney.
