So it starts... Team USA just launched their new 72 foot cat for the Americas Cup. If you do not keep up with the Americas Cup efforts... With the current Americas Cup World Series they race on 45 foot cats with wing sails, and for the actually Americas Cup regatta they will be racing on 72 foot cats with wing sails as shown in this video. So the World Series is raced every year and the Americas Cup regatta typically takes place every 4 years.
