Kelso Lake, Bonner County, Idaho

 Kelso Lake is a beautiful .08 mile long lake known locally as a fabulous fishing lake. Locals also like to swim in this very clean lake. This is an electric motor only lake! The boat launch is paved with dock and fishing platform at the end of the dock. This is a day use area only. Camping can be done up the road at Granite Lake for free. Fishing: Trout, Bass, Pike, limit of 6 each. No limit on other species. See sign when fishing at this lake. For more fishing info call 208-769-1414. ACCESSIBILITY: PARKING... Dirt parking lot next to road and lake; PATHS/TRAILS... No developed paths/trails; RESTROOMS/FACILITIES/SHADE… Fully accessible restroom. No shade; DOCKS/LAUNCHES/PLATFORMS… One dock with fishing section at the end of the dock. Single lane dirt/gravel launch at about 4% grade; DIRECT WATER ACCESS… No developed access for wheeled mobility devices. Wide but small beach space of dirt, gravel, mud combo next to launch; TRANSFER SYSTEMS... None; SENSORY... No sensory tactile markers for those with visual and other impairments; CAMPING... Primitive public camping just up the road at Granite Lake; O.T.H.E.R… Oddities/Barriers: Mud and marine vegetation along shoreline; Terrain: Level to 3% grades; H2O/Water: Water normally murky. Water temperature in the summer can be around 60 to 70 degree. No drinking water available; Environmental Conditions: Varies; Resources: Food, drinks, and gas in town of Athol, ID.
