Diamond Lake, Pend Oreille County, Washington

Diamond Lake is certainly a jewel of a lake in this area of forests covered mountains. Water skiing and sailing are watersports activities of choice on this lake, and fishing is popular lake this lake. The lake has several resorts along its shoreline, along with local restaurants, gas station, etc. Also includes a lake side Boy Scout Camp. The public launch with dock, and beach area, with restroom. Fishing: Open fishing season is the 4th Saturday in April through October 31. Largemouth bass, yellow perch, bullheads, rainbow and brown trout are available.

Public Boat Launch and Beach
ACCESSIBILITY: PARKING... Large paved parking lot on 6% grade mostly; PATHS/TRAILS... None. Paved parking lot is next to launch and beach area. Paved launch area is wide; RESTROOMS/FACILITIES/SHADE… Fully accessible restroom. No designated picnic areas. Shaded via trees; DOCKS/LAUNCHES/PLATFORMS… One accessible launch dock. One single lane cement launch pad; DIRECT WATER ACCESS… No access for wheeled mobility devices. Water access via beach, which is right next to paved parking lot. With assistance its possible to access the water. Sandy beach with mud areas; TRANSFER SYSTEMS... None; SENSORY... No sensory tactile markers for those with visual and other impairments; CAMPING... No; O.T.H.E.R… Oddities/Barriers: Steep incline of 4-7$ area of parking lot to waters edge. Sand and deep mud along shoreline; Terrain: Mostly paved of 5 to 7% grade; H2O/Water: Water clear until boating season when turbulence kicks up sediment. Water temperature in the summer can be around 60 to 70 degree. Drinking water not available; Environmental Conditions: Varies; Resources: Food, drinks, and gas in town of Diamond Lake.
