On Saturday the 21st
we had a Hobie Sail Yak event at Horseshoe Lake .
It was a beautiful day temperature of about 75 degrees... perfect. First stop
was to the 30’ high Exley
Falls … you can paddle
right up to the base of these falls. We had lunch at the falls and then headed
over to Devils Well. Devils Well is a 50 wide and 100 foot deep round hole in
the rock. It is an impressive sight via a short hike from the lake. After
visiting the well we spent some time swimming where the little Spokane River exists the lake… the water was
warm and clear.
Mitch and I spent some time
sailing the lake and had some good wind that came off and on.
7 Hobie owners showed up...
Our next event is to Bonnie Lake
with its volcanic island and 100 foot high water fall… learn more about this
event by visiting our calendar. To learn more about Bonnie Lake
