Absolutely beautiful video showing the USA F50 catamaran gliding across the water. Six brand new F50 catamarans from 6 different countries will be racing on San Francisco Bay this May 4-5, 2019. On February 15-16 the racing series begin on Sydney Harbour, AUS. and end in Marseille, France, Sept 20-22. Basically these cats are what the next America's Cup (AC) teams were suppose to be racing on, but when team Oracle lost the cup in 2017 the winner decided to go back to monohulls (click here to read our article about the AC75). Fortunately Oracle was unmoved by the loss and is going forward with AC style cat racing via SAILGP program and associated racing circuit. Additional good new there is a USA team comprised totally of US sailors. The 6 countries competing this year (2019) is team USA (all national), Australia (all national), Great Britain, France (all national), Japan, and China.
