It had to happen at some point a sailing vessel would be built to foil sail around the world. The sailing record around the globe is at 40 days. Some said in the past it would be impossible break 50 days and then it fell to 40 days, now its possible to break that and go around the world in under 40 days aboard the new Gitana 17. Mark my words this boat will not only break the around the world record but also the 24 hour record. I will keep you all posted. Check out the boat in this video... very impressive!
