I know some sailors struggle to back up their trailers particularly when at the boat launch. I had a customer once put a hitch on the front of his vehicle... he would drive to the launch unhook his trailer then turn his vehicle around and then hook the trailer to the front of his vehicle. It worked beautiful for him... Whatever works. I recommend when you first get a trailer is to take it to a big parking lot and practice backing it up. Remember the shorter the trailer the harder it is to back it up. Regardless take your time backing up so you do not jackknife the trailer like in this funny video.
