ATTENTION the Sail and Paddle Fest has moved to May 5th, one week earlier.

Our first regatta is April 21-22, Then May 5th is our Sail and Paddle Fest next to the Coeur d'Alene Resort. After that it is the Desert Regatta and so on. We also have trips planned to Horseshoe Lake and Bonnie Lake, etc. We have a lot of great activities planned this summer. If you are interested in teaching kids to sail/race email me at ss@funtosail.com and as we need more sailors to help out our Sea Scout youth.

If you own a Hobie Adventure or Tandem Island, or Hobie kayak with a sail we would love to have you join us for our first unofficial regatta at downtown Spokane, between the Division Street Bridge and the Dam... Sage 17 a winner! 2013

The Sage 17 Keelboat winning another regatta! Sage Marine started production on this new trailer-able keelboat last year... Very bold considering the economy. Based on my review this is by far the best trailer-able keelboat ever built... I know a bold statement. It's fast, easy to rig, light weight to trailer, etc. the best of all worlds. Best of all its made in the good ole US of A.

We are working with the manufacture to have one of these boats at the May 5 Sail and Paddle Fest next to the Coeur d'Alene Resort (ID.).

Spectacular AC 45 Racing

This sailing blog/website is dedicated to Inland NW sailing but occasionally I post items related to sailing outside the Inland NW and here is another such post. If you want to grow the sport of sailing (by sharing these videos and this funtosail.com site, etc.) and learn about the ins and outs of sailboat racing then these videos are the ones to watch. Enjoy! I highly recommend watching the specacular fleet racing in the second video at 1:04:40.
